No Work Appetizer - Feta Cheese and Kalamata Olives

I made this appetizer with the Sunday Comfort food dinner. I really didn't even think about it because it was so easy to do, so I apologize for not doing it in my usual format, but I think you can follow it easily.

You will need a block of feta cheese (I love the French Feta)
A small container of Kalamata olives
Black pepper
Oregano
Olive Oil

Slice the feta cheese about 1/2-inch thick and then
cut each slice in half to form 2 triangles
Place them on a serving plate

Grate a little black pepper on them

Sprinkle a little dried oregano on them (just a light dusting)

Scatter the Kalamata olives over the cheese

Drizzle a little olive oil over the cheese and olives

Eat and enjoy!

  1. No-recipe-needed recipes are the best! I'm not a fan of olives, but I do have some leftover artichoke hearts hanging out in some marinade in the fridge and a fat red pepper that should be roasted soon. This sounds like a nice way to use them up. The oregano is just peeking its nose up in the garden too.

  2. I'm so jealous you have fresh oregano growing already :)
