Our next stop was Tampa
where of course,
we just had to make a stop at the casino
We played the slots for awhile,
everybody lost except me for a change...Yay!
Of course all that gambling made us hungary so we stopped
into The Green Room for a bite to eat.
The Green Room is a sit-down as opposed to buffet service
with a Breakfast Menu that is served 24 hours a day.
They have sandwiches, salads, appetizers, as
well as dinner entrees.
The sandwiches run anywhere from 8.25 - 14.00
and the entrees run from 13.00 -29.95
We opted for sandwiches since it was late
Rae had the chicken ceasar salad which was delicious
Marc had the roast beef sandwich
Steve had the corned beef
with what he said was a great deli mustard
and alas, I was lucky on the slots, but
not so with dinner...
I ordered the tomato, mozzarella and prosciutto panini
which looks delicious, and it wasn't bad, but the
prosciutto was cut so thick you couldn't bite it.
I had to remove it from the sandwich in order to eat it -
I would recommend you with stay away from this dish or
ask them to cut the prosciutto paper thin!
All in all, it was a fun night, and the winnings will pay for
dinner at The Capital Grille on one
of our next adventures!
